Problem: Too many browser tabs

Problem: Too many browser tabs.

They’re distracting.
It’s hard to find the tab I want.
Many visible tabs create stress.

Two solutions:
1. Topical browsers. I have separate browser windows for each topic. This way, I can focus on one topic at a time. For instance, I have separate browser windows for coding, a course I’m writing, and a trip I'm planning. This helps me focus because only tabs relevant to my current task are visible. I minimize all browser windows except the one I currently need.

2. Vertical tabs. This extension makes it easy to find the tab I need. The sidebar can be toggled via alt+v, so my tabs are hidden until I need them. With tabs hidden, the only thing visible on my screen is the current page. This helps me focus.

Other reasons I prefer vertical tabs:

- Extra vertical real estate. My monitor is widescreen, so vertical real estate is limited. Tabs on the side frees up vertical screen real estate.

- Scannable. A vertical list makes each tab plenty wide so I can actually read it.
