Just bought the Apple 5K Studio display
The good:
✅Super bright
✅Gorgeous color
✅Very crisp text
✅I can easily split the screen when needed.
✅Even illumination
✅Superb build quality and clean design - Looks nice, even off
✅Instantly wakes via MacBook Pro
✅Single cable solution. One Thunderbolt cable connects the display, connects my peripherals on the USB-C hub, powers my Mac.
✅The standard screen does a fine job with reflections. Glad I didn’t pay extra for the nano-texture.
The bad:
🚩I don’t need the built in webcam or speakers. My SLR and dedicated speakers are way better.
🚩It’s pricey.
Summary:
I'm happy. I look at a screen for hours everyday. This looks fantastic.
