Pair programming is great
Pair programming is great. It can increase quality. It fosters creativity and collaboration. It helps catch issues early. It's a great fit for hard problems.
But, watch out: Few developers want to pair more than 50% of the time. And 1/3 don't want to pair at all.
So if you want to build a culture of "pair always", you need to find and hire the rare devs willing to do so.
