I find GitHub CoPilot more useful for programming tasks than ChatGPT

I find GitHub CoPilot more useful for programming tasks than ChatGPT.

Two reasons why:

1. Better ergonomics. I need not leave my editor.

2. Richer context. CoPilot already has all the necessary context. It uses my project’s code as context for any prompt, automatically.
CoPilot’s advantage will magnify as people come to expect AI to perform more complex, multi-file tasks in existing projects.

Providing ChatGPT such context is a hassle.

With CoPilot, it’s automatic. It can already “see” my code.

No extra work required. 👍
