Claim: “We need sprints to break work down and hit deadlines.”
Reality: We need to frequently release small tickets so we can estimate velocity.
We don’t need an arbitrary timebox.
If we consistently create small tickets, we don’t have to spend time discussing story points. We don’t have to argue over what fits in a sprint, or whether to pull a task in.
We just need to break work down into small, focused pieces - which is inherently useful anyway.
