I hated Apple
I hated Apple. I thought it was just overpriced. Now I realize what they're selling:
Integration.
My laptop, phone, watch, and headphones all talk to each other seamlessly.
This doesn't just simplify. It enables novel integrations.
Examples:
I send & receive texts on my MacBook.
I control my iPhone with my watch, and vice versa.
I configure my Airpods with my phone or laptop.
My phone and laptop display my Airpod's battery life.
When I buy a new device, I hold an existing device nearby to pair/configure.
