Early in my career, I pushed back on unfamiliar tasks. I said “I don’t know how to do that. I’ve never done that before.”
Then I realized: In development, unfamiliar tasks are common.
So, I’ve learned to say “sure, I can handle it”. Then, I learn go learn how on-the-fly.
