Realization: Independence increased my productivity.

- Fast internet
- No recurring meetings
- I choose my tools
- My machine is much faster than most corporate machines
- I own my projects, so I'm more motivated
- I work when I'm most focused, and wherever I want
I work fewer hours than I used to. But I get more done per hour. Why? Because when I need a break, I take it.
For me, it's not natural to code for 4 hours, eat, then code for 4 hours. So I don't. Instead, I work "odd" hours, and take frequent, long, restorative breaks.
